We gave ourselves four months to start — and finish — two companies.
TSD Ventures is a holding company for two businesses we're running over the summer of 2026: a mobile auto-detailing service and a consulting arm that helps local shops adopt AI tools at prices way below what agencies charge.
The three of us — Nash (UNC Chapel Hill), Bishop (UNC Wilmington), and Grant (UNC Charlotte) — split equity evenly and rotate through every role. One week you're on sales calls, the next you're detailing a Civic in a parking lot.
Everything winds down August 31. We're not trying to build a unicorn — we're trying to learn what it actually takes to run a business, soup to nuts.
